Socialist Federation
Towards a New Working Class Party
Bringing together socialist organisations and activists across Britain to form a Federation, towards a Party of the Working Class.
What is the Socialist Federation?
Bringing it together
The Socialist Federation — renamed from the Members’ Charter at our conference on 31 May 2026 — is bringing together members, ex-members, branches and ex-branches of Your Party, the organised left and independent socialists. We are working together toward a founding congress, following several meetings of hundreds of comrades, addressing the urgent need for a mass party following the broken promise of Your Party.
We need, and want to build, a genuinely democratic party which can meet the distinct challenges we face as a movement. That does mean listening; it also means talking; but even more it means action. If you want to take action against inequality, against the bigotry of the far-right (and more mainstream bigotries beside) — and you’re a socialist of any kind, then we want the Socialist Federation to be your home.
